My private little space.. Abandoned.. When was the last time I updated my blog? I can’t remember.*sigh*

Well, for those wondering out there, I’m still here. Alive and well, still kicking and screaming on the stage of various FF clubs. Life has been good. Work has been kind of hectic. Yesterday was the day when my company did Internal Auditing. My project was chosen and there were some outstanding issues identified and needed to be taken care of. However since we are in school holidays season now, most of the relevant officers are practically on leave. So you see, it’s quite hard for me to speed up my work and get things done quickly when these people are not around to assist me.

The more reason why I should update my blog, right? He he he..

Since I haven’t updated my blog for quite A LONG time (the latest entry was about LM’s Quarterly 2) I think this entry is going to slightly long and err, boring (LOL).

Can you bear that? Then lets go! *wink*

Lets start with May babies.. I have to confess here that this month is actually THE MONTH when I burnt that super large hole in my pocket. I found myself fishing out what’s left in my poor thin wallet every now and then just to ensure I’d get to give all approriate gifts to my dear beloved friends. This also means, no shopping for this month and next month!*sigh* Anyway, just wanna take this opportunity to wish "Happy Birthday" to my great buddies; Colin, Alvin, Clement and Janet- all marvelous May babies! Thanks for being a good friend and I do hope our friendship last as long as forever *hugs*.. I had splendid times at the gatherings, especially at Clement’s ’spacious’ venue (LOL). Next time, rent a tent la okay?

Next will be my constant Thursdays affair. I’ve been attending ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ (SYTYCD) live show in Ruums, KL every Thursdays from 9.30pm to 11.00om without fail since 10th May 2007. Thanks to Jimmy’s ever-super-efficient-and-pretty-Ms Claire for getting the VIP tickets to all of us (Jimmy’s supporter yo!). Claire has been a great help to Jimmy and all his suporters (that’s us!). Her management skills are awesome and the way she organised things are so efficient! Way to go Claire! Job well done! Love you for your great efforts!*hugs & kisses*

About the show.. WOW. I mean super WOW with capital W okay. I never imagined any Malaysians would be able to dance like THAT, honestly! Did I ever mention that I initially planned to go to the audition but cancelled it because I was sick? Now I feel so GLAD I didn’t go cause I would’ve embarrased myself big time in front of these mighty talented dancers with my lame moves! I think the Top 20 are all good dancers. Infact, some are VERY good dancers with great potentials I must say. Surprisingly, SYTYCD Malaysia actually do have awesome choreographers whom produced awesome choreographies. WELL DONE GUYS! Oh, I love this show to bits! I hope Jimmy would last in the competition till final comes. Really hope for the best for him! For those who would like to know more about your favourite contestants, judges (like that hot Yannus for example, ha ha), choreographers (oh Manuela is THE BOMB ok!), the crews or just want to know more about the show and the the hot saucy gossips you can always go to Rentak Sejuta forum and read the information there. Feel free to register and drop your comments there! The more the merrier!*wink*

Enough on SYTYCD, now I want to talk about the great time SPK, Tony and me had last Tuesday in SPK’s Back To School BodyJam Theme class! Tony and I teamed up together for the 7.40pm BodyJam slot in SPK on 22nd May 2007, AND what a blast we had with the members there! Many turned up in their normal workout attire *sigh*, but there were some who actually dressed up accoding to the theme. WELL DONE! Thanks folks, you guys were such a great sport! There were balloons everywhere, on the ceilings, at the pillars, along the edge of the stage, ON the mirrors…I almost popped one of the balloons at stage’s edge when I did my track. One cluster of balloons fell off the mirror cause I repeatedly smacked it with my hands and sometimes my head *LOL*.. The balloons were distracting but definitely lovely *smiles*. The members went crazy in BodyJam 36’s Club Cardio (presented by yours truly) in the first half, and went loco all the way in BodyJam 35’s Dancehall Cardio by Tony in the subsequent second half. Great job done SPK people! Special thanks to Nick Heng (SPK’s GXC) for giving me the opportunity to conduct such ‘happening theme class’ in SPK! Loved every minute of it! :D

Since we’re talking about BodyJam, I think it’s worth for m to share this one unpleasant experience of mine with you guys. Last Friday, 25th May 2007, was the very day I cancelled my BodyJam class for the FIRST TIME ever. Never had I imagine that I would have done such a thing! But last Friday was the day when I couldn’t take control of the matters in my hand and had to cancel the class. Let me clarify on what actually happened that day.

Friday, 25th May 2007, at about 4pm, it was raining constantly in KL. It was not heavy, but it was raining quite steadily. I was out of the office. I accompanied Bard to this Money Changer at Odeon (now changed to City Bazaar) since he doesn’t know where the premise was located. I received a call from my office enquiring my whereabouts. After clarifying certain issues, I rushed back to my office to meet my boss. Apparently, I was chosen to be audited on Monday (28th May 2007) and the name of the project to be audited has been included in the list. I was surprised as the project file for the proposed project had just returned to my Department that very Friday evening. I was informed around 3pm by the Department’s clerk that all documents and relevant project files were successfully sent to my Department that day and I can collect it either that Friday evening (25th May), or next Monday morning (28th May) from the PA’s office. And funnily enough, I was informed by my boss at 4.30pm that that particular project is listed in the Internal Auditing on 28th May and therefor I MUST TAKE necessary actions to avoid any Non-Conformance Report (NCR).

Yes, why not? Vetting through that one-inch thick file is very easy. Easy peasy. What more if we get the instruction in such short notice. *note the sarcasm here*

So, what happened next was very much easy to imagine. I tried to examine critically each and every contents of the project file and updated related checklists. Everything was cramped in 45-mins of top speed work, starting from 5pm that is. I supposed to finish work at 5.30pm, but only managed to leave my office at 5.45pm.

To make matters worse, it was jammed very, very, very badly in Kuala Lumpur. The traffic was extremely horrendous! I was stuck in Mahameru from 6pm until 6.50pm! My Uptown class was supposed to start at 6.30pm. I called the frontdesk at 6.05pm, asking his favour to tell the members that I was going to be late. I also told him that I will try to make it to Uptown, no matter how late I will be. I even changed from my baju kurung to my workout attire in my car, okay.

However, the traffic was ONLY inching forward in every 10-minute gap at that time. After I realized that the location of our car remained the same as where we were 15 minutes ago, I decided to call the frontdesk again.

This time, it was a lady who answered my call. I told her my whereabouts, and she LAUGHED as soon as she heard my location. She said, ‘There’s no way you’re gonna make it to Uptown in the next five minutes’..Clever girl. And then she continued, ‘I cakap dengan members yang you stuck dalam bad traffic and have to cancel the class aje lah ye?’.. Again, clever girl. So I cancelled the class :(… I really wanted to go to Uptown and personally apologize to the members there for the last minute cancellation. But I had the feeling that I’d only going to reach Uptown after 7.30pm. It’s not going to be beneficial to anybody if I’m appeared there after 7.30pm. BodyCombat class usually starts at 7.30pm..Regular Jammers will definitely won’t be there anymore. Sad, sad..:(..Anyway, as I predicted, our car only reached Uptown’s area at around 7.40pm. Terrible terrible traffic jam. Luckily I had my dear Azyei on the phone all the way from Mahameru to Damansara Toll (Bard wasn’t in takling mood because of the bad traffic he he). Thanks girl for lending your ears that evening! Nasib baik you tak jumpa Sus-Tiram kan? He he he..

Well guys, that’s all I suppose. It’s like a novel isn’t it? A very bad one I must say, he he.. Anyway, can’t wait for the Miracle Charity Event this coming 16th June at The Curve! I will be in the BodyJam Launch Team and will be shadowing with the new BodyJam Head Teacher - The Ever Bootylicious Leonora (congratulations babe! you sooo deserve it!) and the awesome SK-II Jammer - Kenny for the launching of BodyJam Release 41! WOOT! Check it out y’all!

Can’t Wait!;D

Quaterly 2, 2007

May 8th, 2007 by sleeperzzzz

Last Sunday was the day when I get the chance to meet and did some catching up with few old friends while having a blast at the 2nd Quarterly held at KLCC Fitness Gymnasium.

Managed to say hi to Jacq, the person who ‘found’ me and pulled me into BodyJam team. She’s currently in Bangkok and said will be visiting us here in Malaysia more often (at least every quarterly). I missed her BodyStep MasterClass cause was still having my late breakkie with Azyei, Leo and Tina at Dome’s when the MasterClass commenced. Jacq looks fitter and cuter with her new hairdo, and oh how I miss her classes :((. Didn’t get to ‘catch’ her to stay with the rest of us cause she’s busy taking pictures and did loads of catching up with her old friends here and there during the Quarterly. Loads of peeps here miss her dearly, and I think she knows that too :)…

Had our late breakkie at Dome’s Cafe, with Suaimi and Fatty on tow ha ha ha.. Tina, Anthony, Azyei and Leo were so busy chatting with Suaimi, feeding him with latest FF updates and juicy gossips (oh well, what do you expect from us we gossip mongers). While Fatty and me were both so drown in our own world, chatting and sharing stories and happenings of health industries in two different countries, ie Malaysia and Indonesia. I love Fatty because she is so darn mature and intelligent. She thinks like a 30 year old when she’s only 27. She’s currently the HT for two Les Mills program in Fitness First Jakarta, ie BodyJam and BodyStep.  She’s very good in BJ and very humble too. I met her for the first time in Nike Rockstar Dancehall/Brasil Training (conducted by superb Craig Smith, hell yeah!). She’s such a sweet person and very down-to-earth, you can’t help but to love her the very minute you start to chat with her! Hey Fatty, look forward to see you again in Malaysia for the next Quarterly!!!*hugs*

Didn’t have much time to chat and catch up with Suami as Fatty, Anthony and himself rushed to the gym to catch Body Step’s Education and MasterClass at 11.30am. Just managed to say ‘Hi’ and ‘Bye’ lah Suaimi.. Takpe, next time you come to Malaysia (since Bangkok is so much nearer to KL than China) kita duduk dan gosip beramai-ramai selama yang mungkin ok.. Suaimi ni pun antara cikgu-cikgu BodyJam I lah, apart from Melissa and my sifoo Riyo. Did team teach with him for quite a number of times before my clearance in April 2005. Still remember the time we did our Merdeka Theme Class, he he heh.. You know what Suaimi, we still maintain your Choti Choti Bhaiyon chory in last year’s MerdekaTheme Class tau! Miss you also lah cikgu. Next Quarterly stay a bit longer in KL lah.. Bley I join class you, he he he…

Met Kak Saerah when she came by to collect her DVD pack. OMG… She’s preggie AGAIN! It’s the SEVENTH kiddo y’all…I salute you lah Kak Saerah, he he he..

As for BodyJam Release 41…All I can say is - I SO DARN LOVE THRASH JAZZ! BJ41 is an awesome release, very much easier compared to BJ40 and much more member’s-friendly. However, don’t be deceived as it will still challange your cardio and fitness level and will definitely give you an awesome total body workout! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

Well, that’s all for now folks. Till the next update, ciao!:)

Everybody’s been sick these days. I myself just recovered from nasty fever. Got it from my children. It was the spreading type, viral and easily transmitted from one person to another. I thought I was having flu then, but when the illness just didn’t go away after numerous pills I popped in, I thought a visit to the clinic nearby would help. And it did help, a lot actually.

It was funny because I was so sure that I had flu and not fever when I told the doctor about my illness. I convinced him that I’ve taken paracetamol the night before and I don’t really think my temperature was that high. He just took his thermometer put it on my forehead and cut me off with a no nonsense tone ‘YOU HAVE FEVER’. Ha ha ha.. Who’s the doctor now huh? After the 6-hour gap medication course, my health is now return to its normal state and thankgod I feel so very much better.

But that’s not the end of the story. I strained my shoulders and neck last Sunday after my Summit jam class. I think, I did ragga the wrong way and thus pulled my muscles and strained my neck in the process. Well done! I couldn’t even move my head sideways properly after the class *jangan pandang belakang, he he he*. It was super painful. I had to turn my whole body if I want to look to the sides or to look over my shoulders. The next morning, the pain grew even more worse. And I was working last Monday ok. Was so tempted to go home and spend the rest of the day in bed, but since there’s nobody in the office and SOMEBODY has to be in the office since the rest are taking leave, so yeah, I did stay in the office until 5.30pm.. Blergh… Loser.

Tuesday was spent at the gym. Did cardio on the treaddie for 30mins before stretching in the mini studio. No painful sensations whatsoever felt neither in my neck nor my shoulders. I haven’t attended yoga for more than 3 weeks, so yeah I did some extra stretchings to give my ’sleeping’ limbs a good ‘wake up call’. I tried the front split and, Huargh huargh huarghhhh.. I found that now I can do front splits on both sides, but with some support lah. Give me some face leih..I’m just a beginner. And late-starter beginner okay. Previously I only managed to do front split on one side, that is on the right side. Now, left side also can do laaaa..Slowly but surely, I will try to improve myself. *wink wink*

Tomorrow I’ll be teaching in DU. Haven’t decided which tracks to do. Was tempted to do jazzrock but haven’t memorised the chory yet. Maybe another lazy-and-easy-peasy-jam class tomorrow? Hmmm..If I’m gonna do 36 again, I might have to be in DU early so that I can have sufficient warmup before the class. I don’t wanna strain my neck and shoulders again!

Marilah Mengundi (Nescafe Kickstart 2007)

April 8th, 2007 by sleeperzzzz

Just a short note here. I barely know this girl *honestly*, but I do know this - SHE HAS SUPER HUGE POTENTIAL, SHE’S SUPER MULTITALENTED and SHE’S YOUNG & HAWT HAWT HAWT. Check out her story and do vote for her. I’ve done my part, how about you? I really think Ninie (the Yoga Instructor) deserves to win this competition. Why? ‘Cause I’d like to think so, that’s why. No lah, hehehee.. I think Ninie deserves to win ’cause her idea is feasible and it’s neither too complicated nor too simple. It’s viable, it’s practical, it’s refreshing, it’s new and it’s cool. I love to read and I do practice Yoga (though not religiously), so her mag will definitely gonna be in my reading list; if HatiYoga (the name of the mag) is going to be marketed in various bookstores/newstands nationwide later in future.

For those who’d like to support her, do send your vote via SMS to 33511 and type NK NINIE, or call 13721 and press 2 to choose Ninie to be your next Nescafe Kickstart champion. If you’d like to see how good she is in Yoga, do checkout this webbie for awesome and breathtaking pictures of various Yoga poses. It’ll amaze y’all, I can guarantee that *wink*. Do read her interview in Mun’s Fitness Blog and tell me that you DON’T think she deserves to win :p…

And just look at this picture, if you really don’t believe me (about how ‘hawt’ and how good she is in Yoga :D)..

Amsyhar’s A Big Boy Now!

April 4th, 2007 by sleeperzzzz

Last weekend was the days spent with families and filled with joy and happiness as all of us witnessed the day when two of our younger generation reached their one full year of age. Putri Camelia, my kakak’s lovely girl turned one on 30th March 2007 and  followed by my baby boy Raja Amsyhar on 1st April 2007. Two celebrations were held to rejoice these dates and both were done with much cheer, plentiful of laughter and lotsa lotsa LOVE.

Putri Camelia’s celebration was held in KFC restaurant in Business Centre next to Sunway Hotel, and I must say it’s a great place to organise birthday parties for kids. The package offered was worth it, affordable and hey, you can skip the headache and don’t have to bother about organising the party, controlling the crowd (adult and kids alike), or preparing the food. The package includes everything. Not bad eh? The party was done at the upper level, i.e. the floor that comes with the awesome play section for kids. I arrived at the venue five minutes after Cammy blew the candle :( *sad sad*.. She looked so cute in her dress. And she can really WALK!!!:D I had a great time doing NOTHING at the party. What I did was ONLY looking at my kids playing at the play section, ate loads of KFC, chatted and catching up with mama, kakak (fyi, kakak is currently seven months preggie, EDD is in early July! Another possible double birthday celebration, and this time is in July ha-ha!*Nadia’s bday is on 3rd July*) and Fara, took loads of pictures (and did strike loads of goofy poses too, thanks to our ever faithful and creative cameraman Merah :D), and totally unwinding myself. The crowd was small which gave the party an even more relaxed atmosphere. Totally cool. Not so much kids. Not so much noise. Only Nadia’s voice can be heard once in a while, when she did her scary scream while she was having a ball at the play section. Alahai Nadia..

The next day was Amsyhar Boy’s turn to have his party. It was a mini celebration, done at mama’s place in USJ 14. Kakak was already there from morning *thanks kakak* with Cammy in tow. Arrived at USJ at about 2.30pm, with Amsyhar’s birthday cake, roast chickens from Ayamas and few bottles of sodas. Mama cooked her delicious bihun goreng and Merah and Naz brought another yummy cake for Amsyhar, blueberry cheesecake. So sedap! Amsyhar (or in this case it was Nadia who blew the candle, haih..) blew the candle at around 5pm and received loads of kisses from the babes around him (yeah, we are so perasan, we always think we ARE babes hehehe).. The ever faithful Merah took loads of pics, which explains why he’s not in the picture most of the time.

Enclosed in this entry are pictures taken in both birthday celebrations. I hope you enjoy it!:D

I don’t know why but as I was driving this morning, I suddenly remembered my childhood ambitions; the things I wanna be when I was a kiddo.

I wanted to be a marine biologist. The fieldwork kind of marine biologist okay. What kind of kid wanna be a marine biologist right? I didn’t know it’s called ‘marine biologist’, not until I Googled about it just now. But back then, I had always wanted to spend my life in the waters, working amongst fishes and other sea creatures :D

Why marine biologist? Cause I think it’s COOL. I mean, I love the sea and everything inside it. The ocean is like another world to me. It’s so exciting and fascinating. It’s so beautiful and dangerous. It’s very surprising and very calm. Yes, it’s has everything you can think of, and you can find both of the extremes gel together in the ocean.

I always find it funny when people explore the space for their researches and whatnot. No, I don’t have anything against them. I think they’re cool too. But I think we can find a whole lot more if we do the exploration closer at home. The ocean is like another planet to me. It’s so alien, yet it’s located on earth. And things you can find in the ocean? AWESOME stuffs.

Another reason why I wanted to be a marine biologist is because I fell in love with the SHARKS, so much. I think they’re amazing. They’re really build to kill and I mean REALLY KILL. They’re the perfect predator EVER. Their cartiliginous skeleton (which hardly look like a normal fish bone at all) allows them to have that elusiveness in water, makes them easy to manoeuvre their streamlined bodies, enable them to change direction quickly in waters which makes them the best hunter in the sea kingdom. Do you know that most of the swimsuits worn in the Olympics were inspired by shark’s skin? And the fact that sharks own rows and rows of endless razor-sharp teeth..WOW. They really are designed to KILL aren’t they? And do you know that they are super intelligent? Not to mention their naturally perfect sense of smelling and hearing. PERFECT Y’ALL. I watched this one episode when a bunch of scientist did a test to challage the strength of a shark’s bite and a hippo’s. Hippo is not as cute as you may think alright. They can be lethal too, if they’re intimidated. Anyway back to the bite-challange; without much surprise the result was: shark won the challenge. Ofcourse, no doubt :)… Among all species of sharks, I love mako the most. And hammerheads. And tigersharks. And whitesharks…And, and, and…errr…I love them all!!! Haih….

But in the end I grew up and ended up being a Quantity Surveyor instead :p… Haih… So not adventure, eh?

Oh, below is something I got from Colin’s bloggie. Some of it is true, and others hmmmm, quite rubbish. Well at least I’m entertained when I did the test (and you too if you don’t take it seriously lah ha-ha).. Till then, cya in my next update!

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you’re told that you’re loved.

You’d like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future… one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You’ll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard anytime. You’re feeling self centered.

The Event

March 26th, 2007 by sleeperzzzz

Last Saturday was the Nikewomen Mega Event and boy, was it super tiring. Left home on Saturday to Uptown (carpooled with Leo) at about 9.45am. She was suppose to meet Kylie Gates for her full Bodyjam assessment at 10.30am, so that’s why we went to DU that early (?) Saturday morning.

While Leo sat and had her discussion with Kylie, I did my cardio on the treaddie for 40mins = 10 mins fastwalk to warm up, 20mins running at 9.5 speed and another 10mins to cool down. Continued with a bit of abs and push ups at the vacant area in front of the mirror near studios. Need the workout man.. :p

Met Vehn before his assessment BJ class. Promised him to join his class, but only joined for the first two tracks *so sorry dearie*. I felt some irritation on my soles and thought it was because not enough warm up before my treadmill-cardio. I’d only knew the reason when I took off my trainers later. I developed blisters on the insides of my tapak kaki after I did the treadmill. Must be the socks la I think. Adoi. Sakit kaki ku!

Anyway, after soaking my whole body with sweat, I decided to undo my hair (did my hair for the Nike Event on Friday), wash it and ask the stylist to redo it again later. I would’ve taken extra good care of my hairstyle if it was done nicely. But it wasn’t. On Friday, after they finished doing my hair, all I can say about my hairstyle is - TERRIBLE JOB DONE. Not the stylist’s fault though. I can understand, she might be tired after doing two heads at one go, one after another with complicated style and tonnes of braids & twistings. But the thing is, I didn’t want complicated hairstyle. I just wanted simple braids that sticks nicely on my scalp and won’t fall off when I do the dance later. What happened was, the staylist made me look like a hybrid of Bai Ling from ‘The King and I’ movie and a hideous creature from planet Zargus. Yeah, it’s that bad. I’m not making it up. Seriously. :p

So after washing my hair (wah couldn’t tell you relieved I felt!), the three of us (Ant, Leo and me) headed to Nasi Ayam Hailam restaurant to grab our luncheon. Ant was in foul mood cause some of his instructors dropped their classes in such supershort notice. I don’t have anything against these instructors, but please…be more responsible ok? Do not drop your classes in such short notice. So you have problems with your pay. GXC is not the one whose in charge and determine your pay. You clearly have problems with somebody else, why do you have to make enemies with the person who you clearly don’t have any problems with? Some people with their attitude. So weird. What you’re doing is totally unfair for others who obviously have no problems with you. So immature. So irresponsible. So childish. Haih..

Anyway, after our lunch we made our way to Sunway Pyramid. I followed Leo when she did her shopping and Ant teman YKH makan in Ramen. We then gather up in Ramen together with Ken before making our way to Sunway Surf Beach. Azyei was already there with our Performer passes. After briefings, we did our reherasal UNDER THE HAWT HAWT SUN. My god. I was so close at passing out. It was so terribly hot and extremely SUNNY! I was drenched in my sweat again. Rasa mamcam nak demam. And my blisters were not helping either. After the rehearsal, Azyei, Leo and me quickly rushed to the restroom and ha our quick shower. It was HEAVEN!!!! I immediately dressed up and headed to the pergola to find the hairstylist. They were shocked to see my hair; first because it was undone, second because it was still wet. So to dry my hair just a bit before they style it, they bought a bit time by doing make up first. Okay. Nevermind. I told the stylist clearly that I just want simple braids. And yeah, I finally got what I wanted. Hurrah!!! Loved my hair, even though it’s not as cool as Mel’s, Riyo’s, Leo’s and Azyei’s… Thanks Sky for the great job! Kiss-kiss!:D…

Anyway, as for the make up..The make-up artist told me that they were told by their boss / organiser to make us performers to look tan and healthy. But what I found when I looked in the mirror was, YIKES!!! I LOOK SO SICK!!!! :p…So super bad me went to the restroom and adjusted the make-up so I don’t look so sakit. But I didn’t dare to adjust to much or else the make-up artist would notice and redo my make-up. No no no no…. And then I thought, ‘Was I being a super bitchy diva? Rambut tak suka, make-up tak suka…’ But hey, I wasn’t alone ok? Those people who’ve seen my original hairdo agreed that I should get my hair redone. And those who saw me that night (during the performance) agreed that my make-up looked terrible as compared to others. I had a chat with a gal member in TC the next day, and she said the make-up generally sucked. Some are only OK and mine and Riyo’s were the most ‘pale’ and ‘not nice’. Can’t blame them, cause it’s the truth! Fact is, I honestly think that Riyo’s make up is sooooo much better compared to mine. And if I’d known the make-up would turn out to be that bad, I would’ve done the make up myself. Seriously. My luck in this mega event had not been so good. Haih…

But anyway, we were on with the show anyhow. Started with Yoga presentations, followed by awesome Combat workout, the hilarious fashion show (WE WERE THE MODELS OK?how funny is that?) and finally the Dancehall routine itself. The event was ended after K-Town Clan did their performance. K-Town Clan was not bad..I like their music. So very ragga, heheheh..

Went makan with Azyei, Leo, Ant, Colin, Bard and Ken in Vichuda Uptown later. We ate A LOT!!! Damn, were we HUNGRY! Colin changed from his long pants & shirt to a new fresh set of t-shirt and three quarter pants. Wah, sempat tukar baju lagik. All of us did shower before dining in DU. I kept my hair and didn’t wash it until Monday. Took Emergency Leave on Monday cause I lost my voice (no mic when I did my TC dancehall class) and had slight fever (cause didn’t wash my hair for two days in a row). After mandi and plenty of sleep on Monday, I felt so much better and now sudah datang kerja balik. Woot! :DDDDD

Before I go, here are some of the pics of the lost clans in Apocalypto movie *he he he*.. Enjoy!

And now they say it’s only 3% of the 887 (click here for more info) problematic girls had sex as per recorded in the survey done by Dr. Khaidzir Ismail. That would be about 26-27 girls out of 887 girls surveyed in various schools in Malaysia. From 886 to 26-27 persons only. What is actually happening? What kind of survey/study is THAT?

SPK, the Beautiful Girl and me

March 13th, 2007 by sleeperzzzz

The girl is such an eye-candy alright. She stood at the front row and boy, what a sport she was! She didn’t care if she looked like a duck or a diva when she moved. I like that attitude :). Actually, there’s nothing extra special about her compared to the other SPK members, but I couldn’t help but to notice her ’cause she’s so pretty and always smile & laugh when she did Bodyjam. The rest of the crowd was SUPERB and GREAT. Last night SPK had a blast doing Bodyjam 40 with me, the loco instructor :)

Lets talk about SPK and me for a while here… Actually last night was my first SPK class after two years I stopped teaching Bodyjam. Honestly, my past experience teaching there has not been a good one. Why? Because members there prefer certain instructors only, and I happen to be one of those least favoured there. Not their fault. Everybody has their preferences, right? And I think the class was packed last night probably because they thought Tony’s doing the cover in SPK last night. From my past observation, Tony and my dear You KH are the two most successful and most preferred Body Jam instructors in SPK. I don’t mind if they like me or not when I did the class last night. I was only there to help YKH and Nick for the cover. I can’t force anybody to like me can I? Nooooo problemoooo :D

Back to the eye-candy girl (whoa, in BJ40 we have candyman; in SPK they have eye-candy girl).. She alright, and didn’t distract me as the class progresses. After the class, I quickly rushed out of the studio because I over-ran the class to five minutes late. I suppose to stop at 8.40pm and stopped at 8.45pm instead. Because I was rushing, I forgot to annouce about the NikeWomen’s Mega Event (click here for info), (happening on 24th March 2007 in Sunway Lagoon) to the members. So I only managed to catch one lady in the studio (who’s waiting for yoga class to commence) and another Middle East look-alike gal in the locker room to brief them about the event and passed a bunch of free passes to them to distribute among thier girlfriends later.

Then I saw the eye-candy girl. Apa lagi, dengan ‘confident’nya I walked to her, smiled, said hi and told her about the Mega Event. That was when I realized how TALL she is. I mean, VERY VERY TALL. I didn’t realize that she is THAT tall. She looks tall on the floor (when she did my class) but not THAT tall. I felt so puny beside her :p.. And upclose she looks even more prettier. Some may not agree with me but for me that’s the true definition of beauty. Sans make up, perfect face, pefect eyes, nose and lips, nice haircut, awesome height, athletic body. Not bad at all! After talking for about a minute with her, she then extended her hand to me and introduced herself, ‘I’m Fadzlun’. Wait a minute. The name is so familiar. Fadzlun who? I couldn’t stop my kepoh mouth from asking the question, ‘Are you a model’. Guess what. Of course she is. No wonder la so TALL and CHANTIQUE (Eusopth Moda style hee-hee).

But is she really a model ONLY? I thought the name is soooo familiar.. And the face too. So today, I searched the net for MORE answer on her. I knowwww… I sounded like a freak or a potential stalker, ain’t I? Anyway, I finally managed to find the info I’ve been looking for.. Hah!!! No wonder she looks SO DARN FAMILIAR! She’s Fadzlun Abas, our ex-national netball player turned model, the best Shooter in 21st SEA Games netball championship, Olahragawati Negara in year 2000.

No wonder la so tall. Sesuaiiiii.. :D

p/s: She looks SO MUCH BETTER in person than in pictures okay!:D

887 Gadis Bermasalah

March 8th, 2007 by sleeperzzzz

Are you all aware of this research? I honestly haven’t got the chance to really read the exact content of the report/study. But from what I read, I can basically get the idea of what it’s all about.

It’s a study conducted by Dr.Khaidzir Ismail, a psychologist from UKM, about social problems amongst young girls. Total of 887 respondents were taken in this study (don’t ask me why 887 and not 888 ok?). The sample comprises of groups of twenty problematic girls from various secondary schools, aged 13 to 17 years old.

I generally read most of the blogs related to this study. And reports from local newspaper too. Based on the study, out of 887 respondents, only ONE female student claimed that she’s a virgin. The other 886? Gone already, thankyou very much.

Ofcourse, you can choose to either 100% believe the result of that study, or be a sceptic like me.

My question is - WHY ONLY PROBLEMATIC FEMALE students were incorporated in the study? Why did the study focuses only on female students? What about boys? I think boys are far ‘advanced’ in terms of bully-culture, most ended up with deaths. And THAT is not bad enough for them to put it in their study? Besides, I really wonder the accuracy of the research done. Quoted from a reader’s comment in one of local’s newspaper column, "..Kenapa 20 gadis bermasalah yang diambil sebagai sampel kajian? Bukankah hasil kajian lebih adil dan tepat jika sampel diambil secara rawak?.."

The reader questioned about the validity of the datas. I am totally agree with him/her, all the way. I mean for example; you want to prove guys or males can’t dance. You cannot just simply take samples of those people who you already knew born with TWO LEFT FEET. Your sample has to be fair. You have to take a random sample and do fair tests to evaluate the candidates. If you take all guys with no interest and no talent in dancing whatsoever, your research will absolutely is going to be proven true, i.e. ALL GUYS CANNOT DANCE. Use your logic la my friend. Ofcourse you will get the result that you desired, right?

The same thing should be done in the study of 887 Gadis Bermasalah here. If you want to get the real picture of what’s happening in the schools, TAKE FAIR SAMPLES. Don’t be sexist. Do refrain from having the idea that FEMALES are indeed the root of all evils and discipline problems you can find in schools. You take 20 problematic students. Ofcourse you WILL get 20 confessions of 20 sins. What do you expect? That the 20 problematic student are actually 20 Angels in disguise? That they appeared to be very problematic in schools but constantly perform good deeds outside school-time?It’s like trying to prove all convicts in jail are caught for crimes they did. What la.

Some said that it’s NOT the validity that we have to be concerned about, but the thoughts of how bad things have happened in our schools that we have to focus on. Agreed. But in order to do that, do not point your fingers ONLY to female students for their deliquency and promiscuity (click here for more info). I’m not saying what the girls did was right. It’s WRONG WRONG WRONG. But why only girls?

Once there’s a very shallow comment given by somebody (I can’t remember who but I think he’s quite influential) on rape victims, about how the victims were actually bringing it (being raped) to themselves cause they’re flaunting their ‘assests’ by dressing suggestively and sexily. It turned out that most of the victims are actually Muslim girls with tudung, students in school uniforms, and young girls (aged 3-7). SEXY??? What sexy?!!

You decide.
